I can hear you all already trying to pronounce what is written above! Yep, you’re like, those letters make no sense at all. And you’re right, this is the joy of the Irish language! Now, I have to admit I have an extremely limited knowledge of Irish thanks to a teacher who used to say, ‘I don’t see you, I don’t hear you’ when you had a question that needed answered. However I am still in love with the idea of the language.

Bláthnaid, means little flower and I felt that for this blanket it was the perfect name as little flowers edge the blanket off. Pronounced, blaw-nid, but don’t worry I won’t mind what you call it!
