Pocket Hugs Crochet A Long (CAL)

I first started making my little Pocket Hugs in November 2020, sending them out with little messages and I heard some lovely stories. Some sad, some happy but all about one thing, connecting each other in these difficult times.

I thought I would bring this to you. Over the course of 4 weeks we will make 9 different little characters, each cute in their own right. We will have fun along the way with little competitions and games.

What will I need for the CAL?
3.5mm crochet hook
DK weight yarn of your choice I use Paintbox Cotton for all of my amigurumi
Stuffing
Stitch Markers
Tapestry Needle
6mm safety nose
6mm or 8mm safety eyes (they can be embroidered)
Keychains

What skill level is required?
Each pocket hug is aimed at a confident beginner. There will be a team available to help you if you get stuck.
Each character uses basic crochet stitches.

What if I fall behind?
The CAL is designed so that you can create at your own pace. Each little guy is quick to make but you can work at your own pace.

Do I have to join your FB group?
Joining isn’t mandatory but it will be good fun as we will all be making the same project together. I will run little giveaways throughout and there may be some prizes along the way.
