Chain 32
Row 1: DC in 4th CH from hook and in each ST across. Turn. (30DC)
Row 2: CH2 (Counts as a DC) *FPDC in next ST, DC in next 2 STs* REP * * until the last 2 ST then, FPDC in next, DC in the top of CH, turn.

Row 3: CH 2 (counts as DC), * DC in next ST, FPDC in next 2 STs* REP * * until last 2 ST, DC in next ST and in top of CH, turn.
Row 3
Repeat rows 2 and 3 until your cowl is the desired length. (Approx 39 rows) You must finish on a ROW 2 repeat.

Button hole/Finishing off
CH2, DC in next 2 ST, CH 1, SK1 DC, DC in the next 22 ST, CH1, SK1, DC in the remaining 3 ST.
F/O weave in ends and attach your buttons
