Santa Snugs
Very simple pattern suitable for beginners. Works up in super fast time.
Santa’s Little Snugs came about as I was trying to think of an easy and quick gift idea for my son’s teacher at Christmas time. I had lots of little Mason jam jars and thought that it might be an idea to dress them up at little in a sort of Santa suit style. This is the end result.
For this project you will need:- a 4mm hook, a glass jam jar, some red, black and white sparkle light worsted (double knit) yarn, gold yarn or thread, a tapestry needle to weave in your ends.
For the yarn I tend to use Stylecraft Special DK, I also recommend Clover Amour crochet hooks. They are my go to hook. Another go to piece of crochet equipment that I cannot do without are the Knit Pro needles. With a big enough eye that can fit even the chunkiest yarn! Perfect for weaving in those ends.
