Izzie is a much-loved family favourite. This rag doll style little girl has been loved so much over the years. She is fully customisable to suit whatever way you would like her to look. She is soft and snuggly and easy to make.

The pattern is worked in continuous rounds unless otherwise stated. Please use stitch markers to indicate the end of a row.
An increase in crochet is 2 places 2 stitches in 1 stitch from the previous row.
Stuff as you go for all body parts. Do not over stuff as this will lead to the holes being very visible. Rolling the limbs between your palms also helps to distribute the stuffing more evenly.
Head
With body colour 3.5mm hook
Round 1: In a Magic ring 6 DC. Alternatively, CH4, SL ST to form a ring, place 6 DC inside (6)
Round 2: INC in each ST around (12)
Round 3: (DC, INC) around (18)
Round 4: (2DC, INC) around (24)
Round 5: (3DC, INC) around (30)
Round 6: (4DC, INC) around (36)
Round 7: (5DC, INC) around (42)
Round 8: (6DC, INC) around (48)
Rounds 9 – 19: DC in each ST around (48)
Round 20: (6DC, DEC) around (42)
Round 21: (5DC, DEC) around (36)
Round 22: (4DC, DEC) around (30)
Round 23: (3DC, DEC) around (24)
Round 24: (2DC, DEC) around (18)
Round 25: (DC, DEC) around (12)

F/O and close the hole. Leave a long tail to attach the body.
Hair Cap
With hair colour and 4mm hook
Round 1: In a Magic ring 8 DC. Alternatively, CH4, SL ST to form a ring, place 8 DC inside (8)
Round 2: INC in each ST (16)
Round 3: (DC, INC) around (24)
Round 4: (2DC, INC) around (32)
Round 5: (3DC, INC) around (40)
Round 6: (4DC, INC) around (48)
Round 7: DC in each ST around. (48)
Round 8: (3HTR in next ST) x 5 times, DC in next 43 ST. Turn. (58)
Round 9: DC in the next 43. Turn (43)
Round 10: SK 1 ST, DC in the next 41. Turn (41)
Round 11: SK 1 ST, DC in the next 39. Turn (39)
Round 12: SK 1 ST, DC in the next 37. Turn (37)
Round 13: SK 1 ST, DC in 35.
F/O and attach cap to head.
Hair
With hair colour and 4mm hook
To create the hair I used various lengths of chain stitches from 25 – 40. In each CH SP I placed 3 HTR. For looser curls you can alternate 3 HTR, 2 HTR.
Leave a long tail on each one for attaching to the hair cap securely. I attach as I go to see how the hair is framing the face.
