Aurora

Inspired by my love of the aurora borealis this is my latest blanket design, Aurora. You can click the links below to purchase a copy.

For this blanket I used a 1500m cake from Little Favorites by Rea,

My testers used:

Caron Skinny Cakes – Sweet Mints

Ice Cakes Cotton

Cotton Kings Twirls

Willow Rise DK

You will also need a 3.5mm hook (or corresponding size)

First up is Nikki Barker from SmileNstitches. She used Caron Skinny Cakes in shade Sweet Mints (1912m) and a 4.25mm hook. The result speaks for itself, it is beautiful.

Claire Hughes created her Aurora using Ice Cakes Cotton Fine (1360 m)

Sallyanne, and her very lovely cat are next. Sallyanne used Cotton Kings twirls. Blue Sandstone (1500m)

Elaine Gialouris used Cotton Kings Twirls Peach Danubrite1.75 cakes 1518m

Theresa Curtin made 2 versions. The first with Aldi baby Glitter yarn DK and the 2nd with Creativ Wool Degrade Super 8. Lovely in the solid colour. I think you have to agree that my testers really do rock!
